Hacker Summer Camp is over. It was great to meet our new users at Hacker Summer Camp, especially our Black Hat and DEFCON Dojos. These were lead by as well as the rest of the team. It’s now time to download our third Kali version of 2018.
Kali 2018.3 updates the kernel to version 4.17.0. While 4.17.0 introduced few changes, 4.16.0 brought many improvements, including additional Spectre/Meltdown fixes and improved power management.
Updates and new tools
We have made a few improvements to our repositories since the last release.

We have updated a variety of tools within our repos, including burpsuite and openvas as well as aircrack-ng, burpsuite and wifite. The contains a complete listing of all updates, additions and fixes.

You can download the latest Kali version from the webpage. There are also links to Offensive Security and ARM images. These links have been updated to 2018. You can upgrade your Kali installation if you are happy.
